Privacy and Personal Data Protection Statement
ANAXAGORAS MON. LTD. is committed to protecting the confidentiality and trust of the information provided to it and complies with the applicable legislation on the Protection of Personal Data.
ANAXAGORAS MON. LTD. collects personal data in the context of providing services related to its business activities (repair and trading of internal combustion engines and their spare parts). As part of this fundamental obligation, ANAXAGORAS MON. LTD. is committed to protecting and appropriately using the personal information (also referred to as “personal data”) collected from its employees and from any third party who has a business relationship or transaction with the Company.
It is the established practice of ANAXAGORAS MON. LTD. to collect only personal data that is provided either due to legal and regulatory requirements and/or voluntarily by each employee and by any third-party individual who has a business relationship or transaction with the Company.
1. Collection and Use of Personal Data
ANAXAGORAS MON. LTD. generally collects only personal data that is necessary in order to operate in accordance with existing legal requirements concerning personnel, recruitment, payroll and commercial transactions with individuals (customers or suppliers). Where additional, optional information is requested, the relevant individual is informed at the time the data is collected.
ANAXAGORAS MON. LTD. collects “sensitive” personal data only when the individuals concerned voluntarily provide such data or when such data is required, or its collection is imposed or permitted by law. ANAXAGORAS MON. LTD. requests that any individual employed by the Company or any private individual conducting a transaction with the Company refrain from providing sensitive data unless such data is required for legitimate business purposes.
ANAXAGORAS MON. LTD. declares that no personal data in its possession will be disclosed to any third party or organization without a corresponding legal obligation or without the written consent of the data subject. ANAXAGORAS MON. LTD. also declares that it takes all reasonably possible measures to prevent the leakage or loss of personal data lawfully held by the Company.
ANAXAGORAS MON. LTD. recognizes the importance of protecting the personal data of its employees and of individuals conducting transactions with the Company. However, given the nature of its activities, the Company is required to collect and manage personal data relating to individuals. It therefore ensures, by every appropriate means, that personal data is not transmitted to third parties without their written consent and, as stated above, takes all reasonably possible measures to prevent the leakage or loss of personal data lawfully held by the Company.

Any person who has provided personal data to the Company has the right to request a copy of the personal data held by the Company (the term “Personal Data” as defined under the applicable Greek legislation on the protection of personal data), as well as to review such data and, in general, to exercise any right provided for under personal data protection legislation.

3. Data Security and Integrity
ANAXAGORAS MON. LTD. implements reasonable technical and organizational security policies and procedures in order to protect personal data and information from loss, misuse, alteration or destruction. In addition, it seeks to ensure that access to the personal data in its possession is restricted to those who have a legitimate need to access such information. Individuals within the Company who have access to such data are required to maintain the confidentiality of this information.
Following the receipt of personal data, strict security procedures and safeguards are implemented to prevent unauthorized access. Every reasonable effort is made to retain the personal data collected only for the period necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or until its deletion is requested, if this occurs earlier, unless its continued retention is required or permitted under applicable legislation.
4. Changes to this Statement
ANAXAGORAS MON. LTD. regularly reviews this Statement and may amend or revise it periodically at its discretion. Any changes will be recorded in the Statement together with the date of amendment or revision.
The updated Statement will be published on the Company’s website (www.anaxagorasltd.gr) and will apply to data subjects and their information from that date onwards. Data subjects are encouraged to review this Statement periodically in order to determine whether there have been any changes to the way in which the Company manages their personal data.
